Tissue culture and rapid propagation of Anthurium andraeanum

A method for the micropropagation from leaves petiole and stem were developed.The best inducement culture medium is MS+6-BA1.0 mg/L+2,4-D0.5 mg/L.The best proliferating microshoot culture medium is MS+6-BA1.0 mg/L+IBA0.1 mg/L.Individual shoots were excised and transferred into rooting medium containing NAA .Rooting of shoots were better on 1/2MS medium containing 0.5 mg/L NAA than on MS and 1/4MS with same growth regulator.
