Critical Eigenvalue for the Steady-State Transport Equation with Maxwell Boundary Condition

The existence of the critical eigenvalue for the steady-state spherical transport equation with Maxwell boundary condition of integral type is proved in L 1 space,furthermore,a series of analytical properties of the critical eigenvalue are given.
