Studies on chitinase production by bacillus thuringiensis strain
A stain of bacillus thuringiensis, QB 51,was screened in our laboratory. The study on the synthetic conditions for chitinase showed that the highest yield of chininase was synthesized when QB 51 was cultured for 72 h (220 r/min) in a basic medium (pH 7.0) by adding 2.0% chitin and 1.0% peptone.
