Extraction separation of Pd(II) by ammonium thiocyanate-ethanol in the presence of (NH_4)_2SO_4

  • A study on liquid-liquid extraction of Pd(II) based on ammonium thiocyanate-ethanol in the presence of ammonium sulphate has been performed. The results show that the charged compound Pd(SCN)~(2-)_4 can be easily extracted into the ethanol phase. The extraction rate of Pd(SCN)~(2-)_4reaches the 100% when the concentration of (NH_4)_2SO_4 , NH_4SCN and ethanol in system is 0.30 g/mL,0.02 g/mL and 0.30 mL/mL, respectively.
