Clear Synthesis of Acetylsalicylic Acid catalyzed by GY Zeoite

  • With salicylic acid and acetic anhydride as precursors and GY zeoite as catalyst,acetylsalicylic acid was synthesized.The influences of catalyst quantities,ratios of reactants,reaction time and temperature on reaction were investigated.The results showed that when the molar ratio of salicylic acid : acetic anhydride = 1.0∶1.2,the amount of catalyst was equal to 7.5 % of reacting acetylsalicylic acid,the reaction temperature is 80 ℃ and the reaction time is 10 min,the isolated yield can reach 94.2%.
