In the aqueous solutions Fe(Ⅲ) combines with tetrabutyl ammonium bromide and KSCN into a ternary ion association precipitate Fe(SCN)63.In the presence of(NH4)2SO4,the precipitate was floated well on the surface of water phase to make the system to divide into liquid phase and sold phase with a distinct boundary layer.Fe(Ⅲ) could be quantitatively separated from V(Ⅴ),Ir(Ⅳ),Pt(Ⅳ) and Ru(Ⅲ) by floatation.And 98.2% floatation percentage of Fe(Ⅲ) were obtained when the concentrations of tetrabutyl ...
