Catalyst-free and Solvent-free Synthesis of 2-Phenylimidazo1,2-apyridines

2-phenylimidazo1,2-apyridines were synthesized via the condensation reaction of 2-bromoacetophenone and 2-aminopyridine under the conditions of catalyst-free and solvent-free with yields of 55.0 % ～ 90.0 %.The structures of the products were characterized by 1 H NMR,IR and MS techniques.The proposed technique has the advantages of mild reaction conditions,simplicity,and environment-friendly.
