Key equipment and engineering application of the sinking well type vertical shaft excavation machine

  • Aiming at the problems of the low construction efficiency, significant formation disturbance and insufficient operation safety of traditional shaft construction method in urban complex strata, the key technologies and engineering application performance of the sinking well type vertical shaft excavation machine(SCJM) independently developed by China were investigated, and an efficient and low-disturbance shaft construction solution was provided for deep underground space development. By integrating the principles of mechanized shaft excavation and the technical characteristics of SCJM, a complete construction technology system was established, and the key construction parameters and surrounding strata disturbance characteristics were monitored and analyzed in real time based on an engineering case of a shield receiving shaft at Jiangnan Water Plant. The engineering application results showed that the adaptability of SCJM independently developed by China to complex strata ranging from soft soil to hard rock was effectively verified, the excavation efficiency was adjusted according to geological conditions, and the construction accuracy was significantly improved. The disturbance control performance of surrounding strata was demonstrated, and the maximum surface settlement was controlled below 15 mm, satisfying the requirements of urban environmental safety. Technical support and engineering references were provided for the mechanized construction of deep and large-diameter shafts in China.
