Abstract: Three aspects of the features of urbanization in Henan Province are studied. Firstly,the 1aw of allometric growth of urban-rural population is demonstrated and discussed;Secondly ,the fractal geometric charactristics of relationships between area and population of urban systems is illustrated and analyzed;Thirdly,the fractal dimension of city-size distribution is examined and illuminated.The problems about Henan's urbanization are pointed out and the ways to solving these problems are given preliminarily.
