Abstract: Parazacco spilurus(Gunther) is among the endangered species of fishes in China.The lower jaw protrudes and inlays the convex of the upper jaw. The anal fin well developed with five or six sticks of branched fin rays. The origin of the dorsal fin is opposite behind that of the caudal fin . The barbell is absent . A row of clear pelvic scutes through the bellg side.The results obtained show that Parazacco spilurus was distuibuted in southern Fujian,Guangdong,southern Guangxi and northern Vietnam.
