    Abstract: Geographic Information System(GIS) as an intersecting subject of geography science and information science ,is widely applied in many fields, More and more information system need to use the function of integrating map. How to use VB6.0 as the platform to develop MapInfo(7.0) and integrate the map window of MapInfo7.0 into the developed application procedure of VB6.0 was discussed.
