Research Advances in Methods for Predicting Transcription Start Sites

  • 摘要: 详细介绍了计算定位法在转录起始位点(TSS)鉴定中的重要作用,并重点分析了不同计算方法的建模原理、DNA序列特征采集和运行效率等。最后,展望了预测工具的未来发展方向,为有效开展TSS定位及转录调控研究奠定了基础。

     

    Abstract: The important role of computational localization method in TSS identification was explained in detail, the modeling principles, DNA sequence features collected and running efficiency of various forecasting tools were emphatically analyzed. Furthermore, the development trends of TSS prediction in future was explored, which laying a good foundation for effective study on TSS localization and regulation of gene transcription.
