Abstract: The village tourism development and residential tourism transformation are analyzed by field survey of ethnic villages in Longji Scenic Area in Longsheng Autonomous County of Guangxi. From the perspective of homestay business strategy and construction strategy, the comparative analysis between the current status of the stilted building renewal of Jinzhu village and other villages in the scenic area is given,the inner mechanism and logic of the homestay renewal of traditional stilted buildings are explored under the background of tourism transformation and upgrading,the hidden clues behind the evolution of traditional residential due to the role of market capital are identified.
