Abstract: species freshwater fishes were found in Maoer mountam nature reserve in this survey.They are belong to 3 orders,8 families,18 genera,among which there are 34.8% herbivore,21.7% carnivore and 43.5% omnivorous.According to environments of their habitats,4.3% dwells above,25.8% intermediate and 69.9% below.It was found that the distribution characteristics of above mentioned fresh water fish are related to the environment of the habitat.
