Abstract: A preliminary study was made in the paper on the network of communication lines based on the systems of cities and towns in Henan Province. The concept of spatial interrelation dimension was presented and calculated,and two new indexes,cow-crow dimension ratio and network dimension were suggested to describe or characterize transport networks in a region.
