Abstract: The cause and effect of the fall of the quantitative revolution of geography and the origin and development of the studies of geographical fractals are expounded and discussed.It is pointed out that the theoretical geography won′t be able to develop and form really without introducing of fractal geometry to it,and the main stream of the future geography must be fractal geography.
