Abstract: The suffocated copolymer of acrylic acid (SS/AA) was synthesized by copolymer of acrylic acid with sulfuric acid putting in pyridine. The optimum technical conditions are that temperature is 80℃, the amount of BPO is 1.5%, and reaction time is 4 hours. When the mass fraction of Ca 2+ ,the amount of scale inhibition and pH value are 300 mg/L, 6 mg/L, and 10 respectively, the inhibition rate of CaCO 3 scale is 93.1%.
