Abstract: Leaf stalks of Asarum forbesii,after sterilized twice, we re used as tissue culture explants.Cultured on MS medium supplemented with BA 3 mg/L,the explants produced a lot of fast-growing calli.Many clustered buds and a dventitious buds were formed from calli,which had been transferred to MS medium supplemented with BA 2 mg/L and NAA 0.5 mg/L.When buds grew big enough,they root ed and formed plantlets on MS supplemented with NAA 0.2 mg/L.
