Abstract:
Saponin and residual oil can be extracted from camellia cake and recovery rate are 11.0% and 5.0%, respectively. Camellia cake can be further turned into protein forage by fermentation. Content of protein and ten trace elements in forage were determined. The results show that the forage contains 9.68% protein and higher amount of Mg,Ca,Fe,Mn,Zn,Cu than other elements.
