Abstract:
Frostresistanceisoneoftheimportantcharacteristicsofplants , which consistsofinherencecold-toler-ancein unacclimation andincreasedfrost-tolerance during acclimationin antifrostplants. Theinherence cold-toler-ance derivedfrom highercontentofunsaturatedfatty acidin plasmalemma. Theantioxidantdefensesystem ofcellcanfulfilltheantioxidation needsinlow-temperature , andthecytoskeletoncan beregulatedtoadaptplantstolow -temper-atureconditions. Theincreasedfrost-toleranceoriginatesfrom many activated cold-induced genesand synthesisofalotofcoldshock protein , which enhancefrost-toleranceofplants.Thispapersummarizedtheadvanceson plantcold -tolerance mechanismsinrecentstudies , inordertogivetheoreticaldirectiononfrost mitigation and antifrostbreedingofcrops.
