Abstract: While purchasing life insurance,the insured should make a decision that how long the insurance period should be.The objective function is the sum of income expectation and risk.With given age x and safety loading ρ,it is studied how to obtain the objective function maximum by selection of insurance period.And with the results of numerical computation,the relation of age and insurance period is discussed.
