Abstract:
The adsorptions of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons with carbon in fly ash from power plants were studied. The results obtained show that there is obvious plus correlation between the adsorption capacities of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and the contents of carbon in fly ash,the structure of porous carbon and hollow carbon is favorable for the adsorption of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons. This work could provide a possible method for the pollution prevention of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons.
