Abstract: Through field survey,isolation and room tests,a study on the biological characteristcs of Phallus impudicus was carried out.The result showed that the fungal sporocarps could be found in shaw in spring and autumn.Its sporocarps were constituted with pileus,stipe and volva.The pileus marrow was constituted with thick wall hyphas and vesicle cells.The hymenium of pileus was composed of basidiums,basidiospores and young basidiums.Each of the basidia had four basidiospores and the basidiospores were smooth and bacillary.In the PDA medium,the fungal colony was white and with rhizomorphs.
