一种基于小波包变换的零树分形图像编码算法

An Algorithm of Zerotree and Fractal Image Based on Wavelet Packet Transform

摘要: 在分析小波包变换、零树编码和分形编码的特点的基础上,通过选择最佳小波包基,对不同子带分别采取零树编码和分形预测编码等措施,提出了一种基于小波包变换的零树分形图像编码算法.实验结果表明:本算法能有效提高峰值信噪比和减少编码时间,提高了压缩效率.

Abstract: A new algorithm of zerotree and fractal image is presented by selecting the best wavelet packet basis and different encoding methods were used,i.e.wavelet zerotree and fractal image.The experiment results indicates that the algorithm can improve the PSNR and reduce the encoding time.
