Abstract: The constructions of inverse semigroups and fundamental orthodox semigroups with inverse transversals are simple.An orthodox semigroup with inverse transversals having a clear algebraic constrction is constructed by using an inverse semigroup and a fundamental orthodox semigroup with an inverse transversal.In the meantime,it is proved that each orthodox semigroup with an inverse transversal can be constructed in this way.
