Abstract: A non-linear system of differential equations that models the dynamics of the age structure of a population with a disease is studied,where the age includes infection age and chronological age.Analysis of the model reveals the existence of two equilibrium points,one of the equilibrium points corresponds to the disease-free state,the other corresponds to the endemic state.Conditions for the local stability of equilibrium points are discussed.
