Abstract: Nano-sized ZnO, a new kind of functional material, have been used in many fields in recent years. In this paper, methods of preparation of nano-sized ZnO, especially chemical methods, are reviewed in detail. The applications of the ZnO are also summarized briefly. A bright future is depicted in the field of development continuously.
