Abstract: Inorganic salts in shrimp shell are removed with dilute hydrochloric acid,proteins in shrimp shell are dissolred with dilute sodium hydroxide,acetyl in chitin is removed with concentracted sodium hydroxide.The optimal conditions for soluble chitin preparation method is investigated and this method is practical way to comprehensive use of shrimp shell and enuironmental protection.
