Abstract: A two stage method is proposed to elicit the membership function of fuzzy objective coefficients in the setting of fuzzy linear programming.In the first stage,a rough membership function is elicited based on the method of linear interpolation;in the second stage,a more precise membership function is obtained by the past decision specified by decision maker.
