Abstract: A process to prepare high quality alminium sulfate by the co-precipitation method was introduced. In this process, Fe 2+ ion was oxidized with KMnO 4 and then hydrolyzed, hydrolysis product was co-precipitated with new formed active MnO 2, so ferrous compomed removed.
