Abstract:
The anion-cation organicbentonite samples were prepared by reaction of raw bentonite with cetyltrimethyl ammonium bromide and lauryl sodium sulfate.The performances and the adsorption kinetics of absorbing acid Blue in wastewater by anion-cation organobentonite were investigated in this paper.The results showed that the anion-cation organobentonite can enhance greatly capability of absorption to acid blue.Under the condition of pH2,room temperature,absorption time 75 min and dosage of anion-cation organobentonite 4 g/L,the removal rate of acid Blue in wastewater(201.82 mg/L) by anion-cation organobentonite could be up to 99.87 % and the maximum adsorption capacity is 50.387 mg/g.According to the adsorption isotherm curves of acid blue on anion-cation organobentonite,the regularity of adsorption fits Freundlich isothermal adsorption model.The adsorption kinetics followed the laws of Frendlich.
