Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to give an analogous definition of Apostol type for the so-called Apostol-Euler numbers and polynomials.We obtain two explicit formulas involving the Gaussian hypergeometric functions and the Stirling numbers of the second kind respectively.Besides,we discuss some special cases and applications which leads to several new formulas of the classical Euler numbers and polynomials.
