Abstract: Based on properties of palisades between the "Three-Sliced-Rock" of Jianglang Mt.,and comparing the Xiaonongxia Ravine with the local similar landforms,this paper suggested that the Xiaonongxia Ravine belongs to rift valley from tension joint.As there are lack of evidences about the long-term water erosion and markedly different surface properties of the cliff landforms of Danongxia Ravine,the paper proposed that the formation of the Danongxia Ravine be attributed to fault actions.Meanwhile,the ...
