Abstract: The active of Lanthana was studied by thermogravimetric and differential thermal analysis .The Lanthana was obtained by the thermal decomposition of Lanthanum carbonate and it could produce directly Lanthanum Hydroxide which has high active by hydrolytlic decomposotion reaction. The method is simple and don't bring any other compounds.
