Abstract: The existing problems of the image restoration algorithm were analyzed,and a new image restoration algorithm based on particle swarm optimization was presented.Combining with the characteristics of image restoration algorithm,the fitness function,searching space and the selecting of parameters were introduced.The strategies of speeding up the convergence rate with the influenced of the optinal neighbor swarm and reducing searching space with opening window randomly were proposed
