Abstract: In the bulk concrete construction of underground quadrate culvert for awater conservancy project,hair like cracks appear regularly about in 5 m from both ends of every 15 m long section.In this paper,the process of design and construction is analysised,some effective measures to avoid the cracks appearing again are taken.
