Abstract:
A ZIKV infection model with vaccination and standard incidence rate was investigated. The basic reproduction number (
R0) of the model was obtained by applying the next generation matrix method, the existence of equilibrium and local stability of the model were proved. The results showed that, when
R0 < 1, the disease-free equilibrium is locally asymptotically stable; when
R0>1, the endemic equilibrium is locally asymptotically stable. The dynamics of disease transmissions were analyzed based on the effect of vaccination on viral infection.
