Abstract:
The amino acidebrafish Smyd1a protein was retrieved from the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) database, and subsequent physiological and biochemical analyses were conducted. Phylogenetic trees were constructed by searching for highly homologous sequences from different species using NCBI. The results revealed that Smyd1a protein consists of 489 amino acids with a molecular weight of 56 376.54 Da and a theoretical isoelectric point of 6.27. Glutamic acid (Glu) exhibited the highest content at 8.4%, followed by leucine (Leu) and alanine (Ala) at 8.0% and 7.0%, respectively. Smyd1a is characterized as a hydrophilic protein without secretion lacking transmembrane helical regions while displaying irregular folding patterns within its structure. Furthermore, Smyd1a belongs to the SET family.
