    Abstract: The 2022 Nobel Prize in Chemistry has been awarded to American chemist K. Barry SHARPLESS, Danish chemist Morten MELDAL, and American chemist Carolyn R. BERTOZZI, in recognition of their outstanding contributions to the invention and development of click chemistry and bioorthogonal chemistry. The application of click chemistry and bioorthogonal chemistry in biology is presented in detail, and the new challenges and opportunities in the fields of chemistry and biology are envisioned. An efficient molecular construction tool for human is provided to explore the nature of biochemical processes.
