Abstract:
Based on mineralogical analysis of Apalek copper polymetallic deposit in Xinjiang, the features of trace elements in different types of pyrite are systematically studied. The research results show that the pyrite of the Apalieke copper-polymetallic deposit can be divided into three classes and five types, and the features of trace elements in different types indicate that the mineralization of the deposit is not formed in a single stage. With such characteristics as multiple tectonic metallogenic stages, multiple material sources and multiple mineralization, it proves to be a typical sedimentary-transformation type polygenetic compound ore deposit.
