Abstract:
Layered tungsten disulfide is synthesized by hydrothermal method. Tungsten disulfide/Au nanocomposites (WS
2/Au NPs) are prepared by electrochemical deposition method. A novel electrochemical method is developed for bisphenol A determination. The electrochemicalbehavior of bisphenol A is investigated by cyclic voltammetry and differential pulse voltammetry by using WS
2/Au NPs modified glassy carbon electrode. The results demonstrate that the modified electrode exhibits efficient electrocatalytic activity to the oxidation of bisphenol A. The electrochemical sensor shows a good linear range from 0.1 to 100
μmol/L with a detection limit of 28.2 nmol/L (
S/
N=3). The developed sensor also displays long-term stability and high sensitivity for bisphenol A determination. The method has potential to be applied for real sample detection.
