Abstract:
The
bHLH gene family of Chinese Yam is systematically analyzed at the whole genome level by the bioinformatics and molecular biology methods. Sixty-seven genes are identified, and the gene expression patterns of
DrbHLH5 under drought and high salt stress are detected by qRT-PCR. The results show that the
bHLH gene family belonged to hydrophilic proteins. The 67 DrbHLHs can be divided into 17 groups, and the members in the same group tend to have the same conserved motif and gene structure. The genes of this family are distributed unevenly on chromosomes, and some form as gene clusters. Three dimensional structure shows that
DrbHLHs have typical helix-loop-helix structures. Gene expression analysis shows that
DrbHLH5 can respond to drought and salt stresses, suggesting that it has potential stress resistance function.
