5 (BT2) particles are prepared by a modified Pechini method, the phase structure and reaction mechanism are analyzed by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction (XRD), field emission scanning electron microscope (FESEM), and simultaneous thermal analyzer. The results indicate the optimum calcination temperature of preparing BT2 powder by using citric acid as chelating agent is 850 ℃. BT2 ceramics are obtained from the powders by solid sintering at 1200 ℃ at mospheric pressure. The ceramics phase structure and electrical properties are investigated by FESEM, electron specific gravity balance, XRD, LCR digital bridge, and quasistatic piezoelectric constant testing meter. The results show that BT2 displays high densification and perfect crystallinity as well as the excellent electrical properties. This study can provide a reference for the preparation of BT2 ceramic materials by sol-gel method.
