铜取代的多金属氧酸盐电催化水氧化性能研究

Polyoxometalate Based Copper Clusters as Catalysts for Electrochemical Water Oxidation

  • 摘要: 合成并表征了一个铜取代的多金属氧酸盐: Cu5(OH)4(H2O)2(A-a-SiW9O33)210-(化合物1), 并首次将其用于电催化水氧化体系中进行催化产氧。化合物1不仅在pH值为4.2的酸性环境下具有产氧活性, 而且展现出优异的稳定性。同时利用循环伏安、恒电压电解、扫描电镜、能量色散X射线谱等考察了化合物1在电催化过程中和对应简单金属盐(CuCl2)在催化行为和催化能力上的区别, 从而验证了化合物1在参与的电催化体系中是真正的产氧活性物种。

     

    Abstract: A copper containing polyoxometalate (POM) Cu5(OH)4(H2O)2(A-a-SiW9O33)210- (compound1) was synthesized and characterized. Compound 1 was tested as the first catalyst for O2 production via electrocatalytic water oxidation. Meanwhile, compound 1 shows oxygen evolution activity and excellent stability in an acidic medium (pH=4.2). Multiple experiments including cyclic voltammetry, bulk water electrolysis, scanning electron microscope and energy-dispersive X-ray spectrometry measurements results confirm that the difference of the catalytic water oxidation activity and catalytic behavior using compound 1 and CuCl2 is compelling evidence that compound 1 is a true active species in the electrocatalytic system.
