Abstract:
Based on the 3-year-old
Cyclocarya paliurus seedlings, the physiological effects of acid rain on it's seedlings were studied by acid rain with simulated sulfuric acid pH values of 3.5, 4.5 and 5.6. The maximum photosynthetic rate, stomatal conductance, transpiration rate, intercellular CO
2 concentration, antioxidant activity and proline content were measured in the experiment. The results showed that, with the decrease of acid rain pH value, chlorophyll fluorescence and maximum photosynthetic efficiency of willow seedlings decreased significantly, antioxidant enzyme activity (CAT and SOD) increased, and antioxidant content increased relatively. The results were provided a theoretical basis for the cultivation of the seedlings.
