Abstract: Considering the complex coupling relationship between urbanization and village protection, the coupling coordination degree model of urbanization and village protection is constructed, the coupling coordination degree of Wuhu urbanization and village protection is calculated quantitatively and the trend of coupling coordination degree is analyzed. The coupling coordination degree of the contribution share of urbanization and the contribution share of village protection in Wuhu are calculated under three conditions: α=2/3, β=1/3;α=β=1/2;α=1/3, β=1/3. The results show that the coupling coordination degree of urbanization and village protection in Wuhu City is rising steadily with different contribution shares, indicating that the urbanization and village protection are in a state of coordinated development.
