Abstract:
According to the transmission mechanism of Hepatitis C, an SICTR infectious disease model with prevention and treatment interventions is developed, and the control reproduction number of the model is calculated. Furthermore, according to the Lyapunov-LaSalle theorem, the global stability of both the disease-free equilibrium and the endemic equilibrium are proved. Finally, sensitivity analyses and numerical simulations have been carried out. The results showed that the scale of disease outbreak can be reduced effectively by increasing prevention awareness and improving treatment rate.
