Abstract:
Polyethylene glycol functionalized hollow mesoporous silica nanoparticles (HMS-PEG) with good water solubility were successfully prepared using styrene as template, and characterized by infrared spectroscopy, thermogravimetry, dynamic light scattering and transmission electron microscopy. The drug loading rate and entrapment rate of berberine based on HMS-PEG were as high as 136.4 mg/g and 68.2%, respectively. The results of vitro showed that the cumulative release rate was about 43.2% within 24 h, and the cell survival rate was above 80%.The metabolism results in vivo showed that nano-carrier drugs significantly increased BBR concentration in mouse plasma.
