Abstract:
Based on the existing ecological environment in the region and a mixture of various influencing factors, such as important ecological function areas, ecologically sensitive and vulnerable areas and the areas excluded from development, the range of eco-redline in Zhongshan was designated. Its value of ecosystem services and relevant changes were also evaluated and analyzed. The results showed that: the areas included within the range of eco-redline in Zhongshan are 175.23 km
2 in total, accounting for 9.82% of the city's land area. They are mainly distributed around Wugui mountain in the south-central Zhongshan and near ecological function areas for biodiversity and water conservation ecological function enrichment region in the reservoir catchments of Changjiang. In 2015, the value of the city's eco-redline in ecosystem services increased slightly to 1.482 billion yuan from the figure in 2000, accounting for 12.27% of the total value of the city's ecosystem services.
