Abstract:
There are general problems about the soil (e.g.,low content of soil organic carbon content) in tea plantations of China.And these caused great impact on the tea yield and quality.However,straw application can increase the soil organic carbon content.To study the effects of straw application on the stability of soil organic carbon in tea plantations can provide support and guidance for the improvement of tea yield and quality,as well as supplement for the study on carbon cycle,since the stability of soil organic carbon has a great influence on soil carbon sink.The stability mechanisms of soil organic carbon are composed of the inherent refractory degradability of soil organic carbon,the chemical protection of clay minerals,the physical protection of soil aggregates and the biological effects.The influence factors of soil organic carbon stability include the molecular structure of organic carbon,soil biological environments and non-biological environments.It is included that straw application can influence the soil organic carbon stability mainly by straw acting as carbon source,promoting tea growth,increasing soil microbial biomass,improving soil structure and chemical properties.In the end,some prospects were put forward,and the future research about the straw application on the stabiliy of soil organic carbon was discussed.
